Why is it ?

….that a transformer blinks ? i’m just watching the movie Transformers (yeah yeah not the greatest piece of cinematic history) and there are scenes where Optimus Prime actually blinks. now why would a robot need to blink his eyes ? Probably not the dumbest thing in the movie but definitely one of them.

Oh and then bumblebee pisses on john turturro (Optimus calls it “lubricating”) for no reason.

I’m writing some of these things as i’m watching it so forgive the progression. So they walk into a “secret” base under the Hoover Dam where the leader of the bad robots (megatron) is located, frozen apparently. As they walk in there are sparks from welding falling all over the place yet then there is a claim made that they shipped this robot there in 1934 (the hoover dam was completed in 1935 so i guess they had the base there during construction). Now if you have a robot there, in a base that exists for over 70 years, what the fuck are you welding ? what pipes need fixing ? i know this is just for effect but come on. Also they say he’s been in cryostasis (however that is spelled) since 1935. so what did they do between 1934-1935, keep him in a tub full of ice cubes ? (according to wikipedia cryostasis is mere science fiction, so pardon me for the frivolity).
